Meet Jenée Hudson!
Jenée Hudson is a professional speaker, former HR executive, and Toxicity Recovery Coach who empowers professionals to rise beyond toxic environments, silence self-doubt, and lead with identity, culture, and purpose.
Born and raised on a military base in Dugway, Utah, and later educated in a multicultural environment in England, UK, Jenée’s early life shaped her adaptability, resilience, and deep appreciation for diversity. After relocating to Michigan, she navigated cultural shifts, built her family, and began a career defined by perseverance, leadership, and service.
Putting herself through college while working multiple jobs, Jenée launched her corporate career at Kmart Headquarters, where she advanced into several leadership roles, including Return Logistics Analyst, Allocations Specialist, and Co-Buyer within the Women’s Plus Size Division. During this time, she also earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Management and Leadership, strengthening her foundation in organizational development and people-centered leadership.
Following corporate restructuring, Jenée transitioned into Human Resources, where she discovered her passion for helping individuals and organizations thrive. She served as a Corporate Recruiter supporting major automotive, IT, banking, and medical industries before stepping into an HR Generalist role at Vista Maria, a social services organization serving at-risk youth. There, she gained invaluable experience in trauma-informed leadership, compassion-driven service, and community impact, lessons that would later shape her mission and message.
Jenée’s career continued to ascend as she moved into senior leadership roles within the industrial sector, ultimately serving at the executive HR level. Her responsibilities bridged multi-state operations, labor relations, executive leadership strategy, recruitment, employee development, compliance, and organizational culture. Over nearly two decades, she built a reputation as a trusted leader known for integrity, resilience, and transformational leadership.
When corporate transitions and the COVID-19 pandemic unexpectedly had organizational change, Jenée chose faith over fear, stepping boldly into entrepreneurship. Rather than returning to a traditional career path, she built her own businesses, launched her speaking platform, and created her exclusive Thrive Beyond Toxicity™ Framework, empowering others to transform adversity into growth and leadership strength.
Today, Jenée stands as a voice for resilience, healing, and purpose-driven leadership. As a proud African American woman of faith, her journey reflects strength, gratitude, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to uplifting others. Her work blends identity restoration, healing, leadership development, and faith to help individuals break free from toxic cycles and step fully into who they were created to be.
